ANGELS
“God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go.” Psalm 91:11-12
It was a dark gray winter day, with snow and ice. I was passing a ramp to my right on 264 as a semi was coming on the highway. The truck was moving very fast and I had to get out of its way. I looked in my mirror, and I could have sworn there were cars in the left lane, so I could not go there, and the truck was coming closer. The only thing I knew how to do was put the brakes on. Of course I skidded, and actually did a 180° in the middle of the highway. I was just waiting for a car or truck to smack into me. There was
nothing there. Not one other vehicle as I shakily got the car back in its lane and got moving again.

I was looking after our first granddaughter as she climbed up on a chair. I went over to get her, but she was quicker than I thought. The arm of the chair was right next to a stone fireplace. I saw her start to tumble. I knew in my heart there was no way she could miss hitting her head on the stone. But there she was sitting on the carpet between the chair and fireplace.
I believe in angels. |
