BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS

“Come to me all you who labor and are burdened and I will give you rest.”

How I love that statement. To me it is one of the most comforting in scripture. It is the biblical equivalent to that beautiful song, Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

 

If you get the chance over this weekend, listen to that song, imagine Jesus singing it to you, and know the peace of letting go; the peace of being embraced by love; the peace that surpasses all understanding.
